The Rebuild Project

A peer community for women entrepreneurs navigating running a business and serious health trauma at the same time.

No masking required.

THE REBUILD IS NOT A SUPPORT GROUP. IT'S NOT A NETWORKING GROUP.

The Rebuild Project is a peer community built specifically for women founders, consultants, and entrepreneurs who are running a business while navigating a serious health event — cancer, chronic illness, long COVID, autoimmune disease, or anything that has changed the body you're working in.

WHAT IS THIS

We’re coming together to connect and support each other personally and professionally. Each month we meet at least twice as a group; programming covers areas around professional identity, to time and energy management in a body that has new rules to business operations and financing challenging times.

We help you find your voice again in a workplace that wasn't designed for what you've been through. This business community is practical and human centered.

WHO IS THIS FOR

You are in the right place if any of this sounds familiar.

• You finished treatment or the caregiving season ended, and now you're trying to figure out who you are in the aftermath.

• You're back at work but performing a version of yourself that doesn't quite fit anymore, and you don't know how long you can keep it up.

• You've been doing this alone and you're tired of it.

  • "I had a lot of support around breast cancer. I had no one to talk to about what does this mean for me to lead a company. Do I tell my clients? How do I talk to my team?"

    — Anna, climate consulting founder

  • "I really identified with being a speaker. I really identified with the lifestyle. And it's one of the things that's been hard — okay, I'm not that person anymore. What does that mean for me, what does that mean for my work, what does that mean for my business?"

    — Denise, author, public speaker and executive coach

  • "Being in a cancer-only peer group would have just absolutely not worked for me. But I was missing that working executive, working small business owner, traumatic health event world."

    — Lindsay, Strategic HR Consultant

The Practical and the Personal, Together

Core Programming — Monthly

A 90 minute monthly session with expert guests when relevant. Topics cover the real intersection of health and business: leadership identity, client communication, energy management, income sustainability. Sessions are recorded so you never miss one on a low-capacity day.

Group Coaching — Monthly

A 90 minute facilitated session with your cohort. This is your space to bring live challenges, get peer perspective, and think out loud with people who understand both sides of your situation. These sessions are not recorded; what's said here stays here.

Office Hours — Weekly

Weekly drop-in coaching with Heather, open to all members across cohorts. Bring a question, a decision, or just show up. No agenda required.

Body Doubling — On demand

Member-run co-working sessions for the days when you need a human presence to get anything done. No agenda, no performance,  just open Zoom and quiet company. An underrated tool for brain fog days.

Slack Community — Daily

Your cohort has its own channel. There's also a shared community across all members for resources, referrals, and connection. On a two-spoon day when you can't make a call, you can still send a message and feel the lift of a quick reply.

Quarterly Events + Annual Retreat

In-person gatherings three times a year in various US locations. One annual three-day retreat per year in the Midwest. All events include a virtual participation option; no guilt for those who can't travel.

HOW IT WORKS

Safety and Grounding — We start by building trust. Real stories, not sanitized ones. Group agreements around confidentiality and pace.

Understanding What Changed — We name what's different. What's harder. What no longer fits.

Gentle Experimentation — We move from insight toward action. Small experiments, honest reporting back, real adjustment.

Integration and Choice — You decide what to bring forward and what life looks like next. The community doesn't end when the cohort does.

INVESTMENT

The Rebuild Project is an investment in yourself and your business: Founding membership is $100 a month, billed annually at $1,200. If that number is a barrier, scholarships are available. Just ask, no explanation required. Healing shouldn't depend on your bank account.
